Glasgow Girls FC & Glasgow Boys FC came together to deliver both a Toybank & Foodbank over 3 days from the clubs premises within Budhill Park. The club also delivered groceries to those who could not make it in or had no transport.

The food bank stock was either donated by local companies, parents of players within the club or bought from funds from teams within the club with both Glasgow Boys FC 2009s donating £200 from funds raised to go to a tournament in Holland which was cancelled & Glasgow Boys FC 2010s who fantastically donated £150, the girls section also donated food purchased from our local Scotmid store. The club would also like to thank Kevin (one of the Glasgow Girls FC 11s parents) who works at “HOVIS” DUKE STREET and he arranged over 500 loaves to be donated to the Foodbank.

The toys which were all brand new and for ages 2-12 were all donated by “KIDS-OUT” which is a charity who not only donate toys to children who need them but organise fun days out for children who need this help, if you can donate to them or wish to see the good work they do please visit their website www.kidsout.org.uk
